The PCB Designer will create high-end PCB layouts, document designs for manufacturing, collaborate with manufacturers on specifications and processes, and develop operational procedures. The designer will generate accurate design data, produce detailed manufacturing drawings, and ensure compliance with policies and standards. The role also involves meeting functional requirements and ensuring performance, scalability, and producibility in both current and future designs.
Your role
Designing high-end Printed circuit board lay-outs (Siemens Mentor Graphics)
Schematic capture for new and updated designs (Siemens Mentor Graphics)
Creating CAD libraries – Symbols, footprints and linking 3D models (Siemens Mentor Graphics)
Creating documentation for manufacturing of PCB
Interfacing with Engineers and mechanical designers
Review deliverables for approval by management
Establish the ability for using new technology and methods
Your profile
Required knowledge:
PCB design knowledge
Impedance-control for high-speed routing
PCB Stack-up’s
Schematic capture for new and updated designs
Library management and maintenance
Differential Routing
Mixed Signal Layout
Rigid and Flex PCB Design
Multi-Layer PCB Design
Power Routing
RF routing (would be a advantage)
Best Practices for Thermal and EMI Layout’s
Hyperlynx analysis would be an advantage.
Practical Experience
Siemens Mentor Graphics (Software)
5 Years+ experience
Siemens Mentor Graphics (Software) Auto Router would be an advantage
Hyperlynx experience would be an advantage
Altium designer (Software) would be an advantage
